Lorne J. “Hooter” Hutter, age 54, of Willoughby, peacefully passed away on February 17, 2019, surrounded by family. He was born in Euclid on November 19, 1964 to Harvey and JoAnn Hutter. Lorne was well known for always having an answer to questions but even more so for his bad jokes.

He really enjoyed the outdoors and the water. He would go sailing often on his time off and he absolutely loved to restore sail boats. Lorne always had a need to fix something throughout his life.

He worked for his family’s business, Hutter Electronics for many years before working for Rockwell Automation for over 18 years. Lorne had a love for sound and music in general. He was a sound engineer for many bands throughout the Cleveland area and even played guitar himself.

Most of all, family and friends was of the greatest importance to Lorne. In the winter, he was a snow bird with his wife Debbie. Lorne loved every moment he was able to spend with his family and they will miss him dearly.

Lorne was the beloved husband of Debbie Hutter (nee Gracco) for 8 years; the loving father of Michael Hough, Emily (Ryan) Chaloux, Ryan (Lisa Latessa) Hutter, and the late Timothy Hutter; the cherished son of Harvey (Linda) Hutter and JoAnn Hutter; a proud grandfather of Rayden, Lianna, and Jacob Chaloux, Emma Latessa, Cassandra Hutter, Elizabeth Rea, Olivia and Timothy Hutter Jr; and a nephew, cousin and friend to many more.
