Obituary for Lorraine Fickert Lorraine (Risner) Fickert was born April 27, 1930 in Risner, Kentucky to Lee Risner and Mousy (Bradley) Risner. She was the youngest of 10 children and was the last surviving child. Her husband, Lloyd Fickert, preceded her in death in 1995.

Lorraine moved to Ohio when she was 22 and met her future husband while an employee at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in St Mary’s, Ohio. They married and raised a family on a farm in Mercer County, Ohio. She remained at her home in Celina, Ohio until she moved to McAllen, Texas with her oldest daughter.

She remained there until illness overtook her and she moved to Windsor Arbor View long term nursing facility. She passed away peacefully at the nursing facility on December 1 at the age of 88 years. Kreidler Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
