LAWSON, Lorraine, age 88, of Dayton, born July 17, 1929 in Fayetteville, West Virginia, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. Prior to moving to Dayton, she lived in New York for 40 years, and was a resident of Dayton for 20 years. Preceded in death by her parents, George and Thelma Green; husband, Herbert H. Lawson Sr.; 12 siblings.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Herbert H. Jr. (Sandra) Lawson of the United Kingdom; daughters, Yvonne L. Lawson of Queenstown, MD, Thelma F. Lawson of Bronx, NY; sister, Norma Gean Green of Dayton; grandchildren, Dwayne Brooks, David Brooks, Amanda Lawson, Theresa Lawson (Matthew Miller) and Benjamin Lawson; great grandchildren, Christopher, Taylor, Tatyanna, Olivia, David and Jayden Brooks, Christopher Cole-Lawson, Hannah Lawson; a host of other family and friends. Memorial service will be held 1 pm Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Calling hour 12 noon at which time family will receive friends.
