Obituary for Lorraine (Nowak) Rekuski Rekuski, Lorraine (Nowak) (also known by her grandchildren as “Gramma C.”). Age 89 of Minneapolis, passed away on June 30, 2018, at St. Therese Nursing Home in New Hope, MN. Lorraine was born on January 18, 1929, in Minneapolis, MN.

She is survived by four children, Linda Johnson (Glen), Richard Cybyske (Joan), Robert Cybyske & Joel Cybyske; nephews, Larry Nowak, Rob Tietz and Ron Cybyske; seven grandchildren, Lisa Marie Adams, Curt Cybyske, Julie Domka (Stephen), John Cybyske, Erin Peterson (Matt), Jenna Cybyske and Haley Cybyske; great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Cybyske; parents, Joseph and Julia Nowak; son, James Cybyske; sister, Lois Tietz; brothers, Lawrence Nowak and Chester Nowak and her nephew Thomas Nowak. “Gramma C.” was loved dearly and will be missed tremendously by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at The Church of St. Raphael’s, 7301 Bass Lake Road, Crystal, MN, 55428. The visitation will begin at 10:00 AM with a mass following at 11:00 AM.
