Lorrie Ann Poarch Ferrell, 54, of Johnson City went home to be with the Lord on Saturday April 27, 2019, at the Johnson City Medical Center following a lengthy illness. Born on April 20, 1965 in Washington County, to Tommy and Norma Poarch. She was a 1983 graduate of Science Hill High School.

She later received a nursing degree in 1987. Lorrie was preceded in death by her mother Norma Glover Poarch. Those left to cherish her memory include her father Tommy Poarch her loving husband, Daryl Ferrell of the home; son, Brock Ferrell; her brother Brian Poarch; and several aunts and uncles.

The family will gather to greet friends and share memories from 5:00pm-7:00pm on Wednesday May 1, 2019 at Tetrick Funeral Services in Johnson City. A Celebration of Life Service will follow to honor Mrs. Ferrell’s life beginning at 7:00pm with Rev. Dale Ferrell officiating.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00am Thursday May 2, 2019 at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Those serving as pall bearers will include family and friends. Attendees are asked to meet at the cemetery by 9:55am.
