Lottie’s Obituary Lottie Alice Eagle Mullen, 94, of Basin passed away Friday, May 3, 2019. Lottie was born to Jack and Lottie Eagle on February 23, 1925 in Washington D.C. Lottie graduated from Woodrow Wilson High in D.C. For a short period of time she worked for the phone company as a switchboard operator. On January 3, 1948 Lottie married Joseph E. Mullen in Washington D.C.

She went to work as a bookkeeper and worked her way up to being a supervisor at the local bank. She worked for the bank for over 30 years. Lottie enjoyed bowling, going out into the Chesapeake Bay on their boat named “The Lotta Joe,” the couple loved the jitterbug and dancing in general.

Joe and Lottie won many dancing contests. They also enjoyed roller-skating and ice skating. The family went every summer to the Ocean City Boardwalk and also Wildwood New Jersey Boardwalk.

The family also loved to travel up and down the east coast. The family also went to Niagara Falls and up into Quebec on one occasion. Joe and Lottie’s love spanned 61 years until his death in 2009.

Lottie came out to Wyoming to live with her daughter Maryann in 2010. Lottie is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Daniel J. Mullen; grandson, James Bradshaw Jr. and great-grandson, James Bradshaw III. Her legacy includes her daughters, JoAnn Brandenburg of Sheridan, WY; Maryann (Ken) Smith of Basin, WY; daughter-in-law, Jean Walker Mullen of Edgewater, MD; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place at the Antelope Butte Crematory in Greybull, Wyoming. She will be buried next to her husband at Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville, MD. Arrangements have been entrusted to Atwood Family Funeral Directors.
