Obituary for Louis “Coach Lou” Ramagos Louis “Coach Lou” Ramagos passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at the age of 86. Beloved son of Anna Trahan Ramagos and Peter Ramagos. Brother of the late Ella Rita Falz.

Uncle of Anna deBlanc, Gerald Falz, Jr., Sharon Brinkman and Paul Falz. Great Uncle of Aimee Vaughn, D.V.M. Great great Uncle of Ailie Vaughn. Also survived by a host of cousins.

He coached football and basketball at Gretna and Terrytown Recreation Departments. He was a football referee and an avid Tulane fan. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army having served in the Korean War and was a member of the Louisiana National Guard Washington Artillery.

He was a lifelong resident of the Westbank. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy. , Harvey, LA on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 11am.

Interment, Restlawn Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday December 30, 2018 from 4pm until 8pm and again on Monday morning from 9am until 11am. Family and friends may view and sign the online guest book at www.
