OBITUARY Louis “Lou” Albert Verbick February 9, 1942 – December 26, 2018 Louis “Lou” Albert Verbick Louis Albert Verbick, of Southlake, Texas passed away on December 26th, 2018 in Colleyville, Texas. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father grandfather and friend to all that knew and loved him. He was born on February 9th, 1942 in Greenville, Texas to Louis Albert Verbick Sr. and Lillian Marie Verbick.

Louis is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas. He had a long and successful career as an engineer in the oil and gas industry. His career brought him and his family to many places such as the Virgin Islands, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela and Europe.

Louis enjoyed spending his free time boating and fishing with his son and golfing with his grandson. He will be remembered by many for his culinary skills – he loved to cook! Louis is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lorraine Verbick, son, Trey Verbick and his wife Stacey and their son, Louis’s grandson, Jackson Verbick all of Southlake Texas.

Louis has three surviving siblings, sister, Nancy Adkins and her husband John, of Chandler Texas, brother James Verbick and brother Henry Verbick and his wife Linda, all of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Marie Verbick and Father-in-law and Mother-in-law, Paul and Margie Bombara of New Jersey. A Church Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am, on January 4th, 2019 at Good Shepherd Catholic Community in Colleyville Texas, with a reception to follow at Louis and Lorraine’s home.

Louis’s interment will be at the Good Shepherd Columbarium at a later date.
