He was the husband of Marjorie (Farias) Medeiros. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Evangelina (Viveiros) and Joseph Medeiros.

He had served in the US Army and was a WWII Veteran. He had worked as Boiler Room Foreman at Charlton Memorial. A member of the Elks, Amvets and the VFW in Tiverton , he was also a social member at Billy’s Cafe in Fall River.

In addition to his wife, he leaves his children Eileen Souza, Judith Tremblay, Michael Louis Medeiros, Jo Ann Medeiros, Nancy Fitzgerald and David Medeiros. He also leaves 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was the grandfather of the late Carissa Fitzgerald.
