BACCO Louis P. Age 98 of Wilmerding, on Saturday, December 01, 2018 in the loving care of stepdaughter Susan (George) Emanuele. A son of the late Joseph and Clara (Pecora) Bacco; preceded in death by wives Lucille A (Urso) Bacco and Catherine P (Pavkovic) Bacco; father of Joseph (Susan) Bacco, Louis (Eileen) Bacco and the late Joyce (Jack) Riemer; brother of John, Gabriel “Rub”, Anthony “Tony”, Rose Hyde, late Caroline, Patsy, Arthur “Archie”, Joseph Jr., Sam, Angeline Cucaro, Flora Reardon; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Louis proudly served in the U.S. Navy in the Philippines during WWII.

He was a weight lifter for most of his life and even at 98 continued to keep up his strength. He enjoyed playing his special numbers every day and recorded the results in tablets for the last 30 years. After starting as a delivery man for the local beer distributor, he became a lab technician for US Steel where he retired.

He enjoyed a long retirement and was amazed that his retirement lasted longer than his career at US Steel. Friends received ALFIERI FUNERAL HOME, INC. , 201 Marguerite Ave.

, Wilmerding on Tuesday, from 2-8 pm. A blessing service will be held on Wednesday at 10am. Louis will be laid to rest with military honors at New Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
