Obituary for Louise C. Gay Louise Carter Gay, 94, wife of the late James Gay, entered into rest on Thursday, November 29, 2018. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 3, 2018 in the Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Gay was born in Thomson, Georgia to the late Carl and Mattie Carter. She retired in 1986 after working many years for the Graniteville Company. She will be well remembered for sharing stories of the past, her love for others and their well-being and for her love of gardening.

Survivors include her three daughters, Jane Hornbuckle (Bill), Carolyn Kitchens (Billy) and Merilyn Croutharmel; two brothers, Ronald Carter and Herschel Carter; two sisters, Barbara Merrill and Doris Wylds; six grandchildren, Angela Culverhouse, Brian Croutharmel, Jill Croutharmel, Randy Kitchens, Rhonda Bartles and Shannon Colligan; eleven great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. If so desired, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 106 SRP STE A, Evans, GA 30809. The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
