Louise Dianne VanderLee, 68, of Dover passed away on April 21, 2018. Louise had been a registered nurse at Milford Memorial Hospital for 34 years. Afterwards, she was the church secretary at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, after starting that position as a volunteer.

. She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, where she was a member of the Vestry, sang in the choir and was involved in the Prayer Warrior Group. Louise enjoyed going to school and advancing her education.

She enjoyed going to the movies, being involved with Weight Watchers, dining out and bowling. She loved the color purple. Louise is survived by her husband of 39 years, Mark H. VanderLee; her son, David J. VanderLee of Felton; eight siblings: Joan C. Wutka and her husband Joseph of Camden, George V. MacDonald and his wife Leslie of Watertown, CT, Dianne R. Knotts and her husband John of Davis, CA, Richard Henry MacDonald and his wife Beverly of Smyrna, Phillip R. MacDonald and his wife Cyndi of Magnolia, Linda M. Haxton and her husband David of Camden, Paula R. MacDonald and her significant other Dale Hall of Dover and Allen C. MacDonald and his wife Flo of Magnolia; and her dogs Trigger and Bella.

A memorial service will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday, May 19, 2018 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 210 Old North Road, Camden, DE 19934 where friends may visit with the family from 9:30 until 10:30 A.M. Saturday. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 157, Camden, DE 19934-0157.
