Obituary for Louise E. James Louise E. James age 90, of Marseilles died at Westbrook Assisted Living, Upper Sandusky on Mon. June 18, 2018. She was born June 2, 1928 to the late Asa E. and Vera (Newell) Hougendobler.
She married Howard L. James on June 25, 1950 and preceded her in death on Apr. 25, 2001. Mrs. James is survived by daughters Jane (Randy) Bryant, and Karen (Uhl) Hensel, both of Upper Sandusky, 4 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, a sister Phyllis (Robert) Reid, Kenton.
She is preceded in death by 3 brothers and 1 sister. Mrs. James graduated from Marseilles High School in 1946. She was a member of Marseilles United Methodist Church, Ruth Circle of the church and helped with many funeral dinners.
Mrs. James was an avid OSU Buckeyes and Cincinnati Reds fan. She enjoyed completing crossword puzzles and word searches. A funeral service will be held on Fri.
June 22, 2018 at 10:30AM at Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Snyder officiating. Interment will follow in Chandler Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:30AM before the funeral service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Marseilles United Methodist Church in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 E. Wyandot Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
