LaBold, 84, of Lansdale, went home to be with the Lord on December 24, 2018. Formerly of Harleysville and Fort Washington, Louise was a long-time resident of Elm Terrrace Gardens, a place she cherished. She was the loving wife of the late Edward W. LaBold Jr., whom she was married to for 46 years.

Born on May 28, 1934 in Cranston, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. Rivers and Frieda (Boesenberg) Rivers. Raised in Teaneck, NJ, She was a graduate of Dwight-Englewood School, NJ, and Centenary College, NJ, class of 1955. Louise was employed at Elm Terrace Gardens for almost three decades before retiring in 2010.

She helped many residents there in her roles in marketing and activities planning and upon her retirement, the facility named the gift store, “Louise’s Gift Shop”. Her devotion to her work was endless and she enjoyed every aspect of Elm Terrace. Louise was a long-time member of First Baptist Church, Lansdale, where she led the kitchen staff in events held there.

She was also a long-time member of the Church of the Open Door, Fort Washington, where she was active in event planning. In the summer, she enjoyed spending time with her family in Ocean City, NJ. Louise liked to attend Phillies and Sixers games with her family.

Survivors include a daughter, Lisa MacDonald and her husband, Paul of Collegeville, PA; sons, Bill LaBold of Franconia, PA, and Steven LaBold of Randolph, NJ. Her grandchildren, Stephanie, Lauren, and Brooke MacDonald, and Meredith, Sabrina, and Katherine LaBold were the lights of her life. She was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanne Hofmann.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 27, 2018 at First Baptist Church, 700 N. Broad St., Lansdale, with a calling hour preceding the service from 10:00-11:00 AM. A luncheon will follow. Interment will be private at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler.
