OBITUARY Louise Myers July 9, 1930 – November 1, 2018 Louise I. Myers, age 88, passed at Meridian Village Skilled Care in Glen Carbon, IL on Thursday, November 1, 2018. She was born July 9, 1930 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Clair and Helen (Backer) Mead. Her husband, Leonard M. Myers, preceded her death in 1994.

They had been married for 46 years. She is survived by her two sons, David Myers and Dale Myers, daughter-in-law, Cindy; three grandchildren, Jennifer Myers, Justin Volkmar and Chelsea Clark. She was blessed with five great-grandchildren, Colin and Anthony Burns, Jackson and Mikayla Volkmar, and Annabelle Clark.

She has two sisters Sharon Zienert and Barbara Mainstone. Louise was a longtime resident of San Diego, CA before moving to Illinois to be closer to family due to her health. Her heart will always be in San Diego.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations to the “Congregational Care Fund” at Skyline Church, La Mesa CA. Additional condolence may also be sent to the family through this online guestbook. A memorial service for Louise will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Glen Abbey’s “Little Chapel of the Roses” 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita CA 91902 Inurnment will be at Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, CA.
