Louise Ticozzi Callahan, 95, of New Haven passed away May 7, 2018 in Mary Wade Home. She was the wife of the late William T. Callahan. Born in New Haven Oct.

3, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Eliseo and Elena Rota Ticozzi. She graduated from Commercial High School in 1940. She worked as a secretary for the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad, and later, as an Administrative Secretary to the Chief of Police in the Town of Hamden.

She was a member of the Venezia Club, was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church and was a member of St. Stanislaus Ladies Guild. The family would like to thank the caretakers at Made Wade Home with special thanks to Dora for her loving and tender care. Mrs. Callahan is survived by four daughters, Pamela Callahan of New Haven, Kathleen DelGiudice Riccio of Waterbury, Susan Ferraiolo of Milford and Elizabeth Callahan (Kelly Herrington) of Port Charlotte, FL.

She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Philip (Lisa) DelGuidice III, Ralph Callahan, Elena Hadoulis, Christine (Anthony) Micarelli, Thomas Ferraiolo Jr., Anthony Gianelli and Angela Ferraiolo. and 15 great grand children. She was predeceased by a brother, Peter Ticozzi and a sister, Bruna Fumiatti.

Funeral from The Celentano Funeral Home, 424 Elm St. (cor. Dwight) New Haven Friday morning at 10:30. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Stanislaus Church at 11:00.

Friends may call at the funeral home prior to the funeral from 9:00 to 10:30 am. Interment in Center Cemetery, North Haven. Contributions may be made to Franciscan Home Care and Hospice Care, 271 Finch Avenue, Meriden, CT.
