Obituary for Mrs. Louvenia “Poola” Mays Pelzer Life Reflections “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted”. –Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 A Time To Be Born Mrs. Louvenia “Poola” Mays Pelzer, daughter of the late Mrs. Josephine Mitchell and Mr. Henry Lewis of Bowman, SC, was born on October 9, 1945 in Bowman, SC. A Time To Build Up “She loved the Lord” at an early age she accepted Christ and joined Old Mt.

Zion Baptist Church Bowman, SC. She attended Bowman High School. After moving to New Jersey she joined Living Faith Ministry in Jersey City and worked for over 15 years for the US Postal Service before medically retiring in 2007.

A Time To Depart On Saturday, March 3, 2017, an angel was dispatched to Alamance Regional Hospital in Burlington, NC to usher her into a place of rest until Christ returns. Preceeding her in death: one brother Charlie Robinson, one sister Pansy Jackson, and two uncles James Shivers and Willie Guest. A Time To Remember Mrs. Louvenia Mays Pelzer leaves to cherish her precious memories: her husband, Mr. Willie Pelzer Sr. Bowman, SC; seven children, Nathaniel Mays – NJ, Evelyn Conner – SC, Karen Haynes (Bruce) – Tennessee, and Willie J. Pelzer Jr. – NJ, Triane O. Pelzer-Darsaw (Jonathan) – Tennessee, Alphonsa M. Cryer – NJ, Shentel A. Cryer – Louisiana; five grandchildren; three brothers, Hollis Lewis – SC, Rev.
