Lovelay Paul Patev, 93, of Brockton, passed away on Sunday Aprill 22, 2018 at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was born December 6, 1924 in Brockton and was the son of the late Nikola and Karola Patev. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Lois M. (Doyle) Patev in 1988.

He is survived by one daughter, Lynne Bonarrigo and her husband Bob, of Raynham, and two sons, Paul Patev and his wife Rose, of Leominster, and Nick Patev and his wife Jan of Stoughton, two grandsons, Sean Patev and Evan Patev, one granddaughter, Katelyn Bonarrigo, and one step-great-granddaughter, Kellie Cochrane. He was also pre-deceased by his two brothers, Nikola and Rudolph Patev. He worked at Farina Brothers and Armstrong Cork and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, South Shore Model Railroad Club, and South Shore Camera Club.

Calling Hours for Paul will be held on Friday April 27th, 2018 from 5:00-8:00PM at the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home 647 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301. Paul’s funeral service will be held on Saturday April 28, 2018 in the Dahlborg-MacNevin’s Chapel for all Faiths, immediately followed by burial at Knollwood Memorial Park Cemetery in Canton, MA.
