Mrs. Lucy Burline Stocks 92, of Whiteville died Friday, April 27, 2018 in New Hanover Regional Medical Center. She was born October 20, 1925 in Columbus County, the daughter of the late William Kirby Suggs and O’Lena Formyduval Suggs. She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Stocks; brothers, J. W. Suggs and Duval Suggs; a sister, Myrtis Turbeville.

She is survived by two sons, Donald L. Stocks, Ronald Stocks, a daughter, Gloria S. Chatham, grandchildren, Donald Byrne Stocks and William Chatham; two great grandchildren, Alena Grace Stocks and William Laythan Stocks. Her funeral arrangements will be announced.
