Luis I. Casas age 48 of South Chicago passed away unexpectedly on May 18, 2019. Luis enjoyed everything that had to do with music. Ever since Luis was young he played the guitar and was also in a band in his late teens and early 20’s.

Luis worked as a truck driver and was able to see a lot of new places on his work journey. He is leaving behind his beautiful wife Cassandra of 28 years. He is also leaving behind five children Beth Casas (Corey), Amanda Arias (Adrian Jr), Rebecca Jimenez (Salvador), Stephanie Casas ( Neko Garcia), Courtney Council and his only Son Brandon Casas.

He is leaving behind 10 grandchildren: Alejandro Michael Jimenez 10, Maddison Elizabeth Aguilar 10, Megan Naomi Aguilar 9, Elena Maria Arias 8, Marilyn Hannah Aguilar 5, Estrella Reina Jimenez 2, Kennedy Gail Council 2, Aamon Joshua Casas 1, Manolo Ignacio Jimenez 1 and soon to be grandchild 10/19. He is leaving behind his mother Dolores Papach ( Joseph), and 2 sisters and one brother Maria “Angie” Mendez, Laura Ramirez ( Jesse) and Lee Casas. He is also leaving behind many nieces and nephews.

Luis is proceed in death by his father Luis I. Casas Sr. and Sister Sandy Casas. Luis is going to be truly missed by his family, but we all know he is rocking out in heaven. Visitation will be on Friday, May 24, 2019 from 2 PM Until 9 PM at Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch 13300 S. Houston Ave.

Chicago, IL 60633 (773-646-1666). Funeral services to be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 from 8:30 AM until 9:30 AM. Prayers from chapel at 9 AM for 10 AM Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Croatian Church.

Interment Holy Cross Cemetery of Calumet City.
