Zion AME Church, 789 S. Santee Rd. , McClellanville, SC 29458. Interment: Old Board Cemetery Mr. Reid was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Ruby Reid.

He is survived by his children: Mr. Tyrone Winns (Patricia), Mrs. Felecia Goodwater (Kenneth), Mr. Vaugh Reid, and Ms. Lauren Reid; step-children: Mr. Joey Howard, Mr. James Howard, and Ms. Ann Howard; grandchildren: Kiara Nesbit, Devante Winns, Xavier Winns, Kenneth Khalil Goodwater, and Ayanna Goodwater; great-grandchildren: Kaden Nesbit, Malcom Winns, Rebecca (Ron), and Kayla Howard; siblings: Mrs. Nancy Keith (Nathaniel), Mrs. Daisy Washington (Walter), Mrs. Barbara Jenkins (Jimmy), and Mr. Calvin Shepherd (Barbara); brother-in-law, Mr. Samuel Ward (Jeanette); aunts and uncle: Mrs. Mary Howard, Mrs. Geneva Alston (James) and Mr. Richard Wineglass (Julia).
