Lula (Dempsey Faye Lewis, age 70 of Wooton, Kentucky widow of the late Mathias Lewis passed away peacefully Friday October 26, 2018 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Estil And Hannah Adams Coots. Lula was affiliated with the Smilax Church of the Lord Jesus, she enjoyed fishing, going on trips, working in flowers, and enjoyed her pet but most of all spending time with her family.

. She was a housewife and worked as a Nurse Aid. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband a great grandaughter Celeste Rosa Lee Walter, brothers Culton, Sam, and Rubin Coots.

Sisters Odean Coots, adn Edna Smallwood. Lula is survived by three sons; Paul Dean Lewis and wife Becky of Wooton, Kentucy; Jerry Lee Lewis of Florida, Wilson Lewis of Wooton, Kentucky. Two daughters Helen Pennington and husband Robert; Sarah Pinson and husband Dwayne of West Virginia.

. Thirteen grandchildren, Amanda White, Samantha Walter, Tracy Hall, Dereck Rowe, Jordon Lewis, Kennedy Lewis, MaKayla Lewis, Josh Lewis, Savannah K. Lewis, William Lewis, and Jay Lewis. Seven Great Grandchildren, Keegan and Ava Kate Hall, Masin and Payzlee Walter, John Thomas, Emma Kate and Baylor Rowe.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday October 29th, 2018 in the chapel of the Wolfe and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Joe Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Lewis Day Cemetery.
