L.V. “Buddy” Paskel April 17, 1943 – December 23, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Mr. L.V. “Buddy” Paskel, 75, of Crossett, AR died Sunday, December 23, 2018, Baptist Health Medical Center. He was a native of Hamburg, but a resident of Crossett for 55 years, he was a landscaper, and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, L.G. “Peter” and Carivine “Bean” Jenkins-Paskel; two brothers, Cornelious and Jimmy Paskel, in June 2017; and a sister, Ruby Putney. Buddy was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed fishing and hunting, and loved being around friends and family. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carolyn Webb-Paskel, of Crossett, AR; one son, L.V. “Bo Jam” Paskel(LaQucia) of Crossett; three daughters, Tunnal Paskel, Funtella Davidson(Timothy), and Carolyn Robinson(William), all of Crossett; four brothers, Limmie Earl Paskel, of Parkdale, AR, Troy Paskel, Charles Paskel(Pamela), both of Hamburg, AR, Steven Paskel(Angela), of Pine Bluff, AR; five sisters, Eunice Williams, of Phoenix, AZ, Cora Hubbert, of Chicago, IL, Gloria Culbert(Joseph), of Alexandria, LA, Emma Wright(Larry), of Hensley, AR, and LoWandia Williams(Carnel) of Pine Bluff, AR; nineteen grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Service will be Saturday, December 29, 2018, 11:00 A.M., at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Willie R. Taylor officiating.

Pallbearers are Leonard Webb, Christopher Bailey, Quinton Scott, Quan Mason, Donnie Ray Webb, and Troy Webb. Burial in Westview Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc. of Hamburg. Visitation will be Friday, December 28, 2018, 5:30-6:30 P.M., at the funeral home.
