OBITUARY Lydia M. Solis September 5, 1947 – July 28, 2018 Lydia M. Solis, 70, of Stuarts Draft passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Augusta Health. Born September 5, 1947 in Trinidad, Co she was the daughter of the late Frank L. and Mary (Madrigal) Sanchez. Prior to retirement, Lydia was employed by The Hershey Company in Stuarts Draft for 18 years.

She was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie 680 and the Verona Moose Lodge #2172. Lydia enjoyed spending time with her family, singing karaoke, riding motorcycles, traveling and taking trips to the casino. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Connie Christine Brocker and grandson, Paul Solis.

Survivors include her four children, David Sanchez Solis, Jr. and wife, Rebecca of Evington, Va, Lisa Marie Bryant and husband, Barry of Stuarts Draft, Lenore Lynn Johnson and husband, George of Stuarts Draft and Alice Solis of Stuarts Draft; grandchildren, David M. Solis, Tesla Johnson and husband, Curtis, Ashley Williams and husband, Travis, Buddy Bryant, Raquel “Beanie” Johnson, Jonathon Solis, Tabby Hodge and Chris Hodge; six great grandchildren; siblings, Mary Padilla and husband, Max of New Mexico, Julia Hurtado of Texas, Frank T. Sanchez and wife, Ramona of Stuarts Draft, Dora Sanchez, Alex J. Sanchez and wife, Mary June, Arthur Sanchez and wife, JoAnne, Robert Sanchez and wife, Josie, Paul Sanchez, David Sanchez and wife, Teresa and Andy Sanchez all of Colorado; a number of nieces and nephews; special friends, Sandy and Steve Hall of Staunton and Christine Trent of Stuarts Draft. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 1870 Stuarts Draft Highway. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at the funeral home with the Rev.
