Obituary for Lyle Laveau Lyle J. Laveau, age 85, of The Villages, FL, passed away September 21, 2018 in Oxford, Florida. Born on March 22, 1933, in Cromwell, MN, he was the son of the late Alex and Mable (Brunette) Laveau. On March 1, 1958, Lyle married Dolores N. Hill in Duluth, MN.

They moved to Florida from Racine, Wisconsin in 1995. He proudly served his country by serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Lyle was a graduate of UMD in Duluth, MN and was an accountant for Harris Metals for 30 years.

Lyle is survived by his wife, Dolores; four children, Robert (Patricia) Laveau of Raleigh, NC, Renee (James) Heney of Leawood, KS, Tammy (Larry) Proko of Kenosha, WI, and Kevin (Ginger) Laveau of Waukesha, WI; six grandchildren, Rachael (Dreu) Viola, Leah (Andy) Pitts, Alissa (Mouath) Halabia, Thomas Heney, Katherine (David Gardnera) Laveau, and Karlie (Tony Bettack) Laveau; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Eleanore Ehmann and Lorraine Wappes both of Cloquet, MN; and one brother-in-law, Haven (Roberta) Hill of Encinitas, CA. He is further survived by other special family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandson, Michael Heney.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
