Lyle Lawber, 84, formerly of Hannibal, MO, died at 5:07 a.m. on March 9, 2019, at The Villas Nursing Home in Desoto, MO. Visitation will be March 14, 2019, from 10 a.m. to noon at Grand View Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO. The funeral service will be held at noon, with Rev.

Michael Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Grand View Burial Park. Lyle was born on November 23, 1934, in Quincy, IL, the son of Joseph Merle and Helen Constable Lawber.

Lyle married Lily Imogene Dodd on May 10, 1952, in Hannibal, MO. She preceded him in death on June 13, 2000. His parents; a brother, Edgar Lawber; a son-in-law, Pete Oggesen; and a granddaughter, Nicole, also preceded him in death.

He is survived by three sons, Anthony (Jeanne) Lawber, Mark (Pat) Lawber and Vincent (Bridget) Lawber; three daughters, Jullie (Kevin Peters) Isringhaus, Cindy Oggesen and Laura (Mike) O’Connell; 13 grandchildren, Kimberly, Stacy, Tony, Markie, Phillip, Ashley, Candace, Vinney, Shawn, Rachel, Jenifer, Lauren, and Amanda; and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, Pallbearers are Mark Lawber Jr., Phillip Lawber, Vinney Lawber, Shawn Lawber, Kenny Ecker and Chuck Hunter.
