Lymon Charles Wimberley of Safford passed away at the age of 91 on May 28, 2019. He was born on March 24, 1928 in Phoenix, Arizona to Dick and Pauline Wimberley. He had 8 siblings; Ira, Burnum, Raymond, Elmo, Billy, Ruth, Thelma, and Audrey.

Lymon was a foreman of iron workers in California. He married Treva on October 2, 1948 in Shafter, California. The couple had 4 children; Raymond, Colette (Sissy), James, and Burnum.

They have 6 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, and 2 pets; Sam and Katy. Lyman enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He also loved going to yard sales and four wheeling.

He was happiest during family get togethers and parties. Lyman is preceded in death by his parents and siblings. A viewing will be held Wednesday, June 5th, 2019 from 9:00 AM-10:00 AM at McDougal’s Caldwell Funeral Chapel followed by a graveside service at Pima Cemetery.
