Obituary of Lyndon Gabriel Lyndon Gabriel passed away on March 7, 2019 at the age of 77. Lyndon was born to his parents Ruth Irene Nelson and Alfred Eugene Gabriel on April 19, 1941, in Vancouver, Washington. He graduate Crook County high school in 1959, going on to serve in the U.S. Air Force from 1959-1964.
Lyndon graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science from University of Portland in 1969, and worked as an electrical engineer. He was a Clark County resident for most of his life, and was a member of the East Vancouver Community Church. Lyndon enjoyed woodworking and genaeology.
Survivors include his wife Carol, at home; sons Peter (Marty) Gabriel, and Christopher (Kim) Gabriel; 7 grandchildren; God-daughter Molly (Mike) March, foreign exchange friend Eerika Jarvikallio of Finland; his brother George (Karen) Gabriel and sister Diana (Stan) Loop. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Ella Mae Mayfield. There will be an inurnment ceremony and military honors on June 1st, followed by a church service at East Vancouver Community Church.
