Lynette Eleanor (Stark) Chapman, 71, of Cannon Falls, Minnesota died Friday evening, May 10, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota. She was born Dec. 2, 1947 in Springfield, MN to Otto and Ethel (Schroeder) Stark.

After graduation from Redwood Falls High School in 1965 she worked various jobs. She married Bobb Chapman on May 4th, 1968. They were later divorced.

She worked at State Farm Insurance in Northfield, MN and later at Smead Manufacturing in Hastings, MN until she suffered a stroke in September of 1996. Lynette was a well-known resident at The Gardens of Cannon Falls where she lived for the last 19 years. Those of us who knew and loved her enjoyed her infectious smile and famous line: Hi Honey, I Love You.

Survivors include her son Scott Chapman, daughter-in-law Robyn (Sommers) Chapman, grandson Carter Chapman all of Cannon Falls, MN. Sister Marilyn (Paul) Elwein of Merrifield, MN and brother-in-law Dwayne Anderson of Albert Lea and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Dennis Stark, sisters Jean (Edison) Schaefer and Kathleen Anderson and grandson Taylor Chapman.

Memorial services will be Monday, May 20, at 2:00 pm, at First English Lutheran Church, 511 W. Belle St., Cannon Falls, MN 55009. There will be a visitation from 1-2:00 pm, also at the church, prior to the service. Lundberg Funeral Home, 5839 Hwy 19 Blvd, Cannon Falls, MN 55009, is assisting the family.
