Lynwood Burnell Harris, III (Lynn), 68 of Richmond VA passed away peacefully on the morning of Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Retreat Hospital. Lynn was born in Richmond, VA on June 9th 1950, to parents Lynwood B. Jr and Edna A. Harris, he was their only child. Lynn graduated from John Marshall High School and Virginia State University.

He taught in the Richmond Public School system and was a jack of all trades, who helped many with his talents. Lynn enjoyed life and lived it the way he wanted. Lynn is preceded in death by his father, Lynwood B. Harris, Jr; his mother, Edna Alfreda Gillespie; and his paternal grandparents, Lynwood Sr and Rosa P Harris.

He is survived by his four children, Kendall B. Campbell (Dawn), Tivoli Harris-Roberson (Jimmy), Lindsay Cunningham (Rico), and Allie Harris; and 5 grandchildren, Nia Campbell, Courtney Harris, Kaden Campbell, Jeremy Cunningham and Marley Cunningham; and a host of other relatives, extended family and friends. Memorial services will be held on May 25th at 11am at St Paul’s Baptist Church, 4247 Creighton Rd, Richmond, VA 23223. Please join in comforting the Harris family by uplifting them with your prayers.
