OBITUARY Lynwood E Mercer April 7, 1944 – February 2, 2019 Linwood Ervin Mercer of Trenton, NC, was born April 7,1944; and went to be with the Lord on Saturday February 2, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Basil and Marie Mercer, and brother Larry Mercer. Linwood is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carolyn Meadows Mercer, son Kenny Mercer and wife, Crystal; daughter Donna Spivey and husband, Carlton; daughter Mary Blythe and husband, David; son Linwood Mercer, Jr., and wife Amy.

Ten grandchildren, Rebekah Kube, Amanda Wuestman, Steven Kube, Meredyth Spivey, Reid Spivey, Aaron Mercer, Greg Mercer, Cameron Mercer, Cody Blythe and Madison Blythe. Two brothers, Billy Mercer and wife Ann; Jesse Mercer and wife Diane; two sisters, Nola Pate and husband Roger; Donna McKinney and husband Ronnie. Thank you Dad for all the love and support that you have given us through the years; “see you in the morning”.

Family will receive friends Tuesday Feb 5, 2019 at Cotten Funeral Home From 6-8 PM. Funeral service will be held Wednesday Feb. 6, 2019 at 11 AM at Cotten Funeral Home, Burial will follow in the Heath Family Cemetery in Trenton NC.
