Obituary for Mable Louise Goodwin Cook Mrs. Mable Louise Goodwin Cook of Wynne, died on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas; she was 86. Mable was born on July 10, 1931 to the late Otha Eugene Goodwin and Mary Alice Goodwin. Mable loved to work in her flower gardens and loved to go “junking”.

She was a charter member of Wynne First Assembly of God where she loved to sing in the choir and headed the prayer chain. The legacy that Mable left behind was one of great prayer and faith. Survivors are her husband, Doyle Cook, Sr. of the home, son, Doyle Cook, Jr. of the home, daughters, Jeanie Curtner and husband Danny of Wynne, Neda Hodges and husband Matt of Wynne, brother, James E. Goodwin of Scott, Mississippi, eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 from 1:30 PM until 3 PM with graveside services to follow at Cogbill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House, 1148 E Matthews Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401 or to the Wynne First Assembly of God 1900 Killough Rd N, Wynne, AR 72396 Kernodle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
