OBITUARY Maddisyn Colleen Butler October 24, 2000 – October 3, 2018 Maddisyn “Maddi” Colleen Butler, 17 of Castle Rock, CO passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, October 3, 2018 in Aliso Viejo, California doing what she loved, swimming. Maddi was born in Cottonwood, AZ to Michelle (Frey) Butler and Charles Butler, Jr She moved to Colorado at age four she battled and kicked cancer’s A##.

She grew up in Castle Rock and just recently moved to her dream location in Southern California with her mother, Michelle and soulmate, Cedric. Maddi had dreams to pursue a career in modeling and photography. She was an avid vlogger and had a growing following on Instagram – @maddisyn.

butler She is survived by her mother, Michelle; soulmate, Cedric; siblings, Justin and Melinda, Tyler, Jordan, Charmayn and David; father, Charlie; grandparents, Mike and Margaret Frey, Julia and Charles Scherf, Charles Butler, Sr., and Fumiko Butler as well as 59 hundred thousand best friends as she so lovingly referred to them as. Maddisyn’s message to all was “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain”.
