OBITUARY Mae Davis Whitehead November 21, 1921 – November 20, 2018 Mae Davis Whitehead, 96, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away, Tuesday, November 20, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Sidney and Minnie Lee Gonzales and was preceded in death by her husband, Al Whitehead, four brothers and a sister. Mae retired from Neiman Marcus Department Store where she had worked for over 40 years.

She loved flower gardening and traveling. She was a member of Brainerd United Methodist Church. Survivors include her son Preston Millet (Deborah), of Chattanooga, TN, two grandchildren, Chandi Plummer (Robert), James P. Millet, three great-granddaughters, Sarah Beth, Chloe and Anna Belle Plummer, brother, Silas Gonzales (Kay), and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m., Friday, November 23, 2018, in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Plummer officiating. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
