Obituary of Maebelle Golden GOLDEN, Maebelle Rene “Red” Age 65 of Elmira, NY. She was born April 7, 1953 in Waynesboro, GA to the late James and Moudie Bell (Wilkerson) Golden. After a brief illness Maebelle passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018.

She was predeceased by her two brothers George Mathis and James Golden, Jr. and sister Retha Golden Graham. Maebelle is survived by her three sons, Spencer C. Golden, Ty S. Williams and Parrish J. Golden; 10 grandchildren Christopher Hoodak, Anasah and Jalasia DeMember, Deontae Kitchens, Kanisa, Kajere and Kaliyah Magar-Golden, Tianna Golden, Ty and Tymere Williams. Also left to her memory are brothers Robert (Willie Mae) Golden of Waynesboro, GA, John Henry (Mary) Golden of Claxton, GA; sisters Emma Wells and Hollise Roberson of Elmira, Mary Golden of Hephzibah, GA, Florence Golden of Waynesboro, GA and Patricia (Andrew) Jefferson of Augusta along with a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and Church family.

Family and friends are invited to visit Shabach Tabernacle Church, 1133 Lake St., Elmira on Friday, June 28th from 10 am to 12 noon. A Celebration of the Life of Maybelle Golden Service will be held at 12 noon. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
