Maiya Latimer, 22, of Richmond Heights, passed away on May 22, 2019. She was born in Medina, OH on May 8, 1997. Maiya was a talented young woman.
She loved to spend her spare time writing short stories and creating anime drawings. Her love for crocheting will be a lasting memory to those in her family as many received scarfs as gifts from Maiya. She was a bright and charismatic young woman with a tenacious spirit and her love for all those around her is going to be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Maiya was the beloved daughter of Kenny and Johna Latimer; a loving sister of Jasmine and Isaiah Latimer; a cherished granddaughter of Shirley (James, deceased) Latimer, Lenora Taylor, Micki Taylor and the late Don Taylor; a niece of Tiffany (Geoff) Finley, Denise (Robert) Douglas, Donn (Janeen) Taylor, John Taylor, Essiance Taylor, and Askia Taylor; and many cousins and friends. A private memorial service for Maiya will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Monreal Funeral Home.
