Marjorie Louise Boynton O’Dell Marge O’Dell was born in Bainbridge, Georgia on December 12, 1920 to Mamie Miller Boynton and Clarence Joseph Boynton. She passed away peacefully of natural causes on January 21, 2018 embraced by family and under the care of Hospice. She is survived by her daughter Kathy Chell and son Bill O’Dell; three grandchildren Sydney, Joanna and Mark and four grandchildren.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Lt. Col. William Roy O’Dell, her mother, father and two sisters Carrie Kate Sandy and Mary Elizabeth Boynton.

She was a devoted and cherished mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and wife. She was a home-maker who make a wonderful home for her husband, son and daughter and for many years her mother. She loved to travel.

She loved her bridge games. She won a number of prizes for her camellias – she cared for over 50 beautiful shrubs. She loved dogs and raised many wonderful pets, mostly mutts, who were all waiting for her.

Her last dog, Lily, is now 18 and living with family The graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at shelfer Cemetery in Havana. Faith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements (850-539-4300 or www. faithfuneralhome.com).
