Manuel Cruz March 17, 1955 – March 24, 2019 Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Manuel “Manny” Cruz, 64, died Sunday, March 24, 2019, at Complete Care at Green Knoll in Bridgewater. He was born on March 17, 1955 in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico to Angel Luis and Anna Maria Cruz. Manny came to the states in his late teens and lived in Perth Amboy and had most recently resided in Bridgewater.

Throughout his life he worked as a handyman, carpenter and mechanic. His favorite endeavors involved working on cars. He enjoyed fishing and loved to cook.

He always had a big smile for his children and especially for his grandchildren. His family includes his former wife, Betty Ann Liska Reyes of Bridgewater, his son, Manuel Cruz, Jr. of Middle, his daughter, Elizabeth Ann Caiazzo and her husband, Sheldon, of Bridgewater, his brother, Nicholas “Nicky” Cruz and his wife, Aida, of Perth Amboy, and his three grandchildren, Delilah Garcia, Mason Caiazzo, and Noah Caiazzo. A memorial gathering will be held for family and friends at The Mundy Funeral Home, 142 Dunellen Avenue, Dunellen, on Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 2 to 4 P.M. Cremation will be held privately.
