Manuel L. “Manny” Macrafic, age 61, of Camp Douglas died on Saturday January 5, 2019 at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ. Manuel was the son of John and Eileen (Madison) Macrafic and was born on October 29, 1957 in Tomah, WI. He was a 1975 graduate of the New Lisbon High School.

After high school he served in the US Air Force and then in the US Army. Manuel worked for many years at the Toro Company in Tomah retiring in October of 2017. Manuel was united in marriage to Patricia L. Schaefer on July 17, 2010 at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Camp Douglas.

Manuel loved to tinker with things in his garage. He enjoyed gardening and helping Patty with the canning of the veggies. He also had his personal Asparagus patch.

Manuel was active in the pool, dart, and horseshoe leagues. Good or bad he was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, and his family requests that people attending the visitation wear their Packer clothing. He enjoyed deer hunting.

Manuel and Patty enjoyed going to auctions and going to antique shops. Manuel loved his 2 dogs Sadie and Tia. Manuel is survived by his wife Patricia of Camp Douglas, 2 daughters Mandy (Mark) Brockman of Mauston, WI, and Samantha Williams of Pleasant View, TN, and 1 son John “BJ” Macrafic of Camp Douglas, by his parents, John and Eileen Macrafic of Camp Douglas, his sister Christy Peterson of Jefferson, WI, his twin brother Michael “Muggs” (Gina Krupa) Macrafic of Necedah, and by 9, grandchildren, and a special little friend, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Daniel Peterson. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church (215 Douglas St.) in Camp Douglas.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation at the Hare Funeral Home (217 W. Pearl St.) in New Lisbon on Friday Jan. 11, 2109 from 4:00P.M. until 8:00P.M., and at the church on Saturday from 10:00A.M. until the time of service. Burial with full Military Honors by the Camp Douglas American Legion post #133, will be in the Camp Douglas Village Cemetery.
