Obituary for Manuel ` Montoya Manuel Montoya RACINE – Manuel Montoya, 66, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Durango, Mexico, the son of Nazario Montoya and Gregoria Melero. Manuel worked for many years in the construction business.

Surviving are his children, Emanuel Montoya, Cristal De La Torre, Edith Montoya, all of Racine, Leonela Tamayo of Antioch, TN, Juan Pablo Montoya, Nazario Montoya, Evelyn Montoya, all of Chicago, IL, and Jose Manuel Montoya of Las Vegas, NV, and his mother, Gregoria Melero. He is further survived by many grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Manuel was preceded in death by his father, Nazario Montoya.

Funeral services for Manuel will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1100 Erie St. Racine, WI 53402, on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Anthony Thomas officiating. Visitation will be held at Sturino Funeral Home on Monday, October 1, 2018 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Cuando los que amamos parten, pasan de vivir entre nosotros a vivir en nosotros.
