OBITUARY Maralynn Gwynn Staten Twining April 20, 1947 – September 2, 2018 Maralynn Twining left this world on September 2, 2018. She was preceded in death by her sister, Connie Staten Charles; and brother, Rick Harvey. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Twining; sister, Alberta Staten Kelley; nieces, Becky Bailey, Trinette Mackey and Stephanie Wilson; and nephew, Timothy Charles.

Maralynn was born in Wellston, Ohio on April 20, 1947. She spent the majority of her early life in Hillsboro, Ohio. She moved to Midlothian, Virginia in 1985, where she spent the remainder of her life.

She graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1965. She was an avid reader and enjoyed working puzzles. Maralynn held accounting positions in several companies specializing in payroll accounting.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 6, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., at Woody Funeral Home – Huguenot. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 10 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Dale Memorial Park at 3 p.m. Online condolences may be conveyed to the family at www. woodyfuneralhomehuguenot.com.
