OBITUARY Marcheta F Colson October 22, 1926 – October 6, 2018 Marcheta F. Colson passed away October 6, 2018 to be with her husband, the late Edward E. Colson. Marcheta grew up in Oklahoma and Texas, graduated from the University of Texas at age 19 and married the love of her life. Marcheta was a career elementary school teacher and in her retirement she resided at the Meridian at Anaheim hills where she gave the boys a run for their money at their daily poker games (and she usually won!

). She also played the piano during Friday Happy Hour, the organ on Sundays for church, assisted with bingo, and is a former Ms. Senior Anaheim Hills. She is survived by her children, Teresa Ann, Eddie and Peggy Jean and their spouses, Larry, Karen and Tom; four grandchildren, Eddie, Amberlee, Whitney and Logan and her great-grandson, Cohen.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Children’s Hospital of Orange County.
