Obituary for Marcia E. Scripter Marcia E. Scripter passed away unexpectedly at her home in Goodland, Indiana on Sunday, April 22, 2018. She was the loving daughter of Frank and Shirley (Smith) Bretzinger. Marcia was born in Rensselaer, Indiana on January 23, 1950.

Marcia was raised in Rensselaer, graduating from Rensselaer Central High School with the class of 1969. She was retired and spent many years working at both Per Pak Corporation in Foresman, Indiana and Casey’s in Goodland, Indiana. Marcia enjoyed playing Solitaire with friends and family on Facebook and playing card games.

One of her greatest joys was spending time with her family. On April 6, 1990, in Rensselaer, Marcia married the love of her life, Michael Scripter who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Dawn (Fiancee’ Mike Auxier) Bretzinger of Goodland and Amanda (husband Jimmy) Hanson of Rensselaer; eight grandchildren, Zachary, Brett, Austin, Toby, Trinity, Jameson, Tristan and Kaliegh and her brother, David (wife Debbie) Bretzinger of Evansville, Indiana.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Frank and Shirley, a daughter, Kimberly Stone and a great-grandson, Landon Lovely.
