Marcia Villegas, 66, went Home to her Heavenly Father on May 22, 2019. Marcia was born to H.M. and Maxine Landers in Abilene, TX on February 2, 1953. Marcia loved The Lord and loved to tell others about her Savior.

She retired from American Airlines where she worked in Human Res. She was a faithful volunteer at the Compassion Center and an active member of Rush Creek Mansfield West Church. She served at her church in many capacities including children’s ministry and prayer team.

Marcia loved to color and share her love for The Lord by giving away her beautiful creations. Her husband Ernie, her children, and her family were so important to her. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, Gram and great Gram.

She loved well and was well loved. Marcia was preceded in death by her parents, her son Will Lamar, son Junior Villegas, and sisters Janice McFarland and Linda Lambert. Marcia is survived by her husband of 35 years, Ernie Villegas, sister DeeAnn Novakosky (Patrick), Sons Drew Lamar (Carrie), Josh Sweet (Tarah), and Tony Sweet (Jessica).

Grandchildren Alyssa, Brynlee, Charlotte, and Vance Sweet. Grandchildren Lexy Johnson (Derrick), Madison, and Hunter Lamar and daughter in law Prudence Lamar. Grandchildren Brooklynn, Noah, and Paisley Sweet.

Grandchildren Kalyn, Kash, and Kannon Villegas and daughter in law Nicki Villegas. Grandchildren Trinity Lamar, Bailey, Hayden, Hudson, and Holden. Great grandchild Victoria Lamar and soon to be born baby Johnson.

Her nieces Cammie Contreras (Jose) and Wendy Samarripa (Phillip). Nephews Mike Lambert (Brandi), and Matt Robertson (Becky). Marcia will always be remembered as the sweetest lady you would ever meet.

Her love was contagious and she battled these last few years with dignity and grace and a smile on her face. A gentle, serving heart will continue to be a legacy that will always be left to those who knew and loved her.
