Margaret’s Obituary Margaret A. (Burick) Muchnock, 90, of Latrobe, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. Born May 2, 1928 in Latrobe, she was a daughter of the late Stephen Burick and Anna (Hettes) Burick. Marge was a life time member of St. Vincent Basilica and its Rosary Altar Society.

She had also been a volunteer for the parish picnics and a member of the St. Vincent Tulips Bowling League. She had been employed as a sales clerk in the late 1940’s by the former Woolworth Co. of Latrobe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael J. “Tibby” Muchnock, Sr.; a son-in-law, George W. “Bill” Resetar; four brothers, Stephen, Michael, Joseph, and Paul Burick; and five sisters, infant sister Mary, Cecelia Slabodnik, Ann Baker, Helen Chuff, and Mary Rose Milan.

Marge is survived by her loving children, Kathleen M. Resetar, of Latrobe, Michael J. Muchnock II, of Blairsville, Janice L. Bush and her husband Rick, of Latrobe, and Joseph S. Muchnock and his wife Lisa, of Latrobe; one brother, John Burick and his wife Ann, of Rochester, PA; ten grandchildren, Shawn Resetar, Mikaela Muchnock, Stacie Muchnock-Sever, Michael Muchnock III, Candace Burcham and her husband Ray, Stephen Muchnock and his wife Megan, Zachary Bush & fiancé Sammi Cook, Lindsy Muchnock, Kaitlyn Muchnock, and Summer Bush; four great-grandchildren, Hannah Marie Sever, Karson Beers, Bella Burcham, and Ariana Burcham; and she is also survived by a number of loving nieces and nephews. Family and friend will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Sunday at the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME, INC. , 601 Weldon Street, Latrobe.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Monday at St. Vincent Basilica. Interment will follow at St. Vincent Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that Masses be offered for the Holy Souls.
