Margaret A. Zimmerman, 67, of Hebron died Saturday November 10, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in McHenry on July 29, 1951 to Lawrence and Edith (Stewart) Nimsgern. She married Clint Zimmerman on October 30, 1982 in Woodstock.

For many years she managed Zimmerman Welding in Woodstock. When not at work she could be found spending her time with her family or enjoying a quiet evening with a jigsaw puzzle. She was an expert at sewing and making the kids Halloween costumes.

She loved to embroider, and enjoyed a thrilling mystery novel. Most Friday’s were spent going out for dinner with her brother Scott and sister-in-law, Leni. She loved watching action thrillers, especially anything made by Marvel Comics.

She was loved and will be severely missed. She is survived by her husband Clint Zimmerman; her mother Edith Nimsgern; a daughter Becky (Travis) Glay; a son Daniel (fiancé Kierra) Zimmerman; granddaughter Alaina Margaret Glay; two brothers Frank (Bernie) Nimsgern and Scott (Leni) Nimsgern. She was preceded in death by her father Lawrence Nimsgern; also, her loyal companion Bugsy the Pug.

The visitation will be Thursday November 15, 2018 from 10:00 am until the 12:00 noon celebration of life at the Schneider Leucht Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home 1211 N. Seminary Ave. Woodstock. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Helping Paws 2500 Harding Lane Woodstock, Ill. 60098.
