Margaret Ann Parsons, 74 of Charlestown, IN went to be with her lord on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Diversicare-Providence in New Albany, IN with her family by her side. Margaret was born on March 8, 1944 in Anderson, IN to the late Naomi and Richard Peckinpaugh. She was a member of Charlestown Independent Church, Millers Chapel Homemakers Club and enjoyed arts and crafts.

Survivors include her sister, Carol Jean Arnett and her husband Jim of Charlestown; cousin, Vickie Rison and her husband Barry and their children, Barry Lee and Amanda Rison all of Clarksville, IN. Mrs. Parsons was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 38 years Phelps Edwin Parsons in 2011. Margaret’s family would like to thank River Crossing Assisted Living in Charlestown for their loving car for five and half years, and also thank Providence Nursing Home for their loving care for the last one and half years.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Barnes Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. and after 11:00 A.M. on Saturday until the time of services.
