OBITUARY Margaret Ann Thomas April 18, 1923 – November 27, 2018 Margaret was born April 18, 1923, and passed away on November 27, 2018, to join her husband of 75 years Roy (Dink) Thomas, her children, Richard, Rosemary (Susie) and Phillip and son-in-law Larry Weakley in Heaven, as well as her parents George and Rosezella Stewart, three brothers and one sister. Her surviving children are Dorothy and Gorden Wilson, Jane Weakley, Roy and JoAnn Thomas, beloved grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren. Margaret and Roy farmed and raised their children in and around Liberty, MO.

, then in later years retired to Greenwood, MO near family, until moving to their final home at Harmony Gardens Assisted Living in Warrensburg, MO. Margaret was a wonderful farm wife, mother and grandmother, devoting her life to her husband and family, as well as extended family and friends. Her life was always about giving generously to others, especially the children.

Her fried chicken, brisket, brownies, and strawberry shortcake are legendary. “Grandma Margaret’s” kind and loving presence will be remembered and missed by many. A celebration of her life will be held at DW Newcomers White Chapel Funeral Home on December 1, 2018, Visitation 1:00 pm Service 2:00 pm.
