Obituary for Margaret A.R. Reid Margaret “Wendy” Reid, 57, of Boston Massachusetts, passed away on January 10, 2019. She was born to the late Elizabeth Williams and Clifford Reid in Kingston, Jamaica on June 10, 1961. At the time of her death, she worked for Vinfen as a Care Coordinator.

Wendy was a dedicated employee, she was loved by all of her clients, as well as her co workers. She often assumed the “mom” role with many of them and they anticipated her arrival to work daily. When you saw Wendy, you could not dismiss her bright smile followed by her signature chuckle.

She loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews. Always greeting them with a “Hi Mummas” or “Hi Papa” Her home was open to everyone and nobody was ever turned away. If you were hungry, she fed you.

If you needed a babysitter, you were never told no. Wendy’s home was a place of refuge for many. She is survived by her four children Beceglia “Rishka” Reid, Damara Reid, Ariana Reid, Brazil Campbell, Three brother’s Neville Dhoray, Samuel Earl Dhoray, Hugh Randy Reid, and one sister Brenda Reid, four grandchildren Rishka “Taty” Reid, Nataliya Reid, Londyn Zene, Alexander Hoover III and one great granddaughter Chelsei Reid.

Her many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, many cousins, and her Aunt Cis and Aunt Cynthia. Wendy was a Feisty, strong, supportive, selfless superwoman who would give her last to take care of the ones she loved. During the past 11 years, she continued to be the same person, nothing was going to change that.

She often worried about her girls and apologized repeatedly for her declining health. She wished that she could be there to support them, but had no idea she prepared them for a journey that without her, would not have been possible. She was immensely proud of her daughters and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories filled with love and laughter.

Wendy will be missed by all but her strength and courageous spirit lives on in all of her children. A Viewing will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 10:00 to 11:00am followed by Funeral Service at 11:00 O’clock at Hyde Park SDA Church 6 Webster Street, Hyde Park, MA 02136 Final Disposition: St. Michael Crematory Funeral arrangements entrusted to Riley-Antoine Funeral Home To send flowers to the family of Margaret A.R.
