OBITUARY Margaret “Babe” A. (Rinda) Keener May 28, 1929 – October 23, 2018 Margaret “Babe” A. Keener, 89, formerly of Schaefferstown, PA, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 in the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon, PA. She was the wife of the late Louis M. Keener. She was born in New Philadelphia, PA on May 28, 1929, a daughter of the late John and Mary Gerdovich Rinda.

Babe was co-owner of Krystal Kleer Trout Hatchery in Newmanstown with her husband and also worked for Binner’s Associates in Schaefferstown. She attended Blythe High School in New Philadelphia, PA. She was a member of the Mary Gate of Heaven Church in Myerstown, PA.

Babe enjoyed playing bingo, billiards at Arbor Gate, completing puzzles and traveling with her husband. She was a very good seamstress and enjoyed making crafts. She is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Alm and husband Bradley of Denver, CO.

Babe was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Norris; brothers, John “Bucky” Rinda, Jr. and Robert Rinda. Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 11:00 am in Clauser Funeral Home, Inc., 116 N. Carpenter St., Schaefferstown, PA, with a viewing beginning on Monday at 10 am. Interment will be made in the Schaefferstown Cemetery.
